Brief Introduction to Intangible Cultural Heritage Wood Carving

Traditional Chinese wood carving is a national-level Intangible Cultural Heritage with thousands of years of oriental craftsmanship.
Adopting ancient techniques passed down in woodworking families, we select aged natural wood such as red sandalwood, Hainan huanghuali, agarwood and boxwood. Each piece goes through manual layout, elaborate carving, fine polishing and wax sealing.
It employs relief, round and hollow carving techniques, without mass-produced machine patterns. Every work boasts natural grain, delicate details and unique handmade charm.

Carved patterns include patron Buddhas, zodiac auspicious beasts, lucky cloud totems and Tibetan blessing symbols. They serve as daily ornaments, meditation tools and collectible heirlooms. Long-term hand polishing creates glossy patina, making them precious oriental cultural keepsakes to pass down through generations.
